Description
This is the second in the series of four books. This book builds on the sounds-symbol relationship to Consonant-Vowel-Consonant (CVC) letter blends and sounds. The children begin to build three-letter words by writing the beginning sound, the middle sound, or the ending sound. Then, they transition into sounding out words (nouns and verbs) displayed through pictures. The children are then introduced to short phrases and sentences to prepare them to read short sentences. Pictures are displayed to match all activities to help them do oral and visual analysis. This book will give the children a solid foundation to begin reading simple sentences and comprehensions.
